Easy Cranberry Pie

This easy cranberry pie  is a sweet & tart Thanksgiving dessert recipe! You can use homemade or store bought pie crust.

Cranberry Pie Ingredients

-2 pie crusts (store bought or homemade) -all-purpose flour -fresh or frozen cranberries -orange zest -vanilla extract -brown sugar -orange juice -cornstarch -egg

Roll out pie crust & line a pie plate with it. Trim edges if needed, leaving a 1 inch overhang.


Combine cranberries, orange zest, vanilla extract & brown sugar in a pot over medium-high heat.


Combine orange juice & cornstarch. Add to cranberry mixture. Bring to a boil, reduce heat & simmer 5-7 minutes.


Pour filling over pie crust. Add second pie crust on top. Cut 3 small slits in top to let out steam.


Brush dough with beaten egg & sprinkle with raw sugar. Bake 20-25 minutes on lowest oven rack.


Let cool, then slice & serve with whipped cream if desired.
