These cupcakes are filled with warm spices like ginger & cinnamon, and topped with a sweet caramel buttercream. The perfect festive holiday cupcakes!

Gingerbread Cupcake Ingredients

Cream butter & sugar in stand mixer. Add oil, eggs & vanilla extract. Mix until combined.

Whisk dry ingredients in a bowl. Separately, combine molasses & buttermilk. Slowly mix both into creamed ingredients (alternating).

Fill cupcake liners 3/4 of the way full.

Bake until fluffy. Let cool completely.

Mix together caramel buttercream (if desired). Pipe on cupcakes & enjoy!
