This easy apple pie recipe is made with puff pastry dough for a tasty & flaky apple dessert recipe. Perfect for fall baking!

Flaky Apple Pie Ingredients

Roll out puff pastry sheets. Line bottom of pie dish & poke with a fork. Bake 10 mins & let cool.

Thinly slice apples (I recommend using a mandolin for ease).

Toss apples with brown sugar, flour, cornstarch, cinnamon & salt. Drain & pour over pre-baked crust.

Roll out another puff pastry sheet & place on top. Crimp edges & add slits on top. Freeze 20 minutes to set.

Brush dough with beaten egg & sprinkle with raw sugar. Bake 30 mins. Add foil on top & bake 15-20 more mins.

Let cool, then slice & add ice cream if desired.
