This homemade blackberry cake recipe with white chocolate frosting is fluffy and moist! A perfect layer cake for summer.

Blackberry Cake Ingredients

Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda & salt in a bowl. Separately, combine yogurt & orange juice.


Cream butter & sugar in a stand mixer. Add eggs. Mix in 1/3 flour mixture, then 1/2 yogurt mixture. Continue, alternating.


Fold in blackberries. Evenly divide batter between 2 cake pans. Bake until set & let cool  on a wire rack.


Melt white chocolate over a double boiler. Cream butter & sugar, then add melted chocolate. Mix in half & half.


Assemble, frost & decorate cake as desired.
