Chocolate Ganache Frosting

This fluffy whipped chocolate ganache frosting is a perfect topping for chocolate cake, cupcakes, or any dessert!

Chocolate Frosting Ingredients

Microwave cream until scalding (but not boiling). Pour over chocolate chunks in a shallow bowl.


Let sit 5 minutes, then stir and add salt.


Cover & chill ganache in the fridge. (Use a shallow bowl for quicker chilling).


Pour chilled ganache into a mixing bowl. Whip carefully for 1-3 minutes.


Use a piping bag to frost cupcakes or an offset spatula to spread on cakes.
