Mini Vanilla Cupcakes

These homemade mini cupcakes are frosted with a sweet & fluffy vanilla buttercream. The perfect bite-sized party dessert recipe!

Vanilla Cupcake Ingredients

Cream butter & sugar in stand mixer. Add egg, egg whites & vanilla extract. Mix until combined.


Whisk dry ingredients in a bowl. Slowly mix 1/3 of dry ingredients and 1/2 of buttermilk into creamed ingredients (alternating).


Fill mini muffin/cupcake liners 3/4 of the way full. Bake until fluffy. Let cool completely.


Mix together vanilla buttercream (or your favorite frosting).


Use a piping bag to frost cupcakes. Top with sprinkles if desired.
