One Minute Easy Maple Glaze For Cake

With just three ingredients and less than a minute of prep time, this One Minute Easy Maple Glaze adds a sweet, rich maple flavor to your favorite cake. Whether you're looking to top a holiday dessert or spice up some breakfast treats, this maple drizzle is the perfect finishing touch!

Ingredients

  • cup confectioners sugar
  • 2 tsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp milk, or cream

Instructions
 

  • Combine the ⅔ cup confectioners sugar with the 2 tsp maple syrup and 1 tsp cream.
  • Mix well with a whisk until smooth adding milk or cream if needed.
  • Pour over cooled cake or dessert.

Notes

STORAGE AND FREEZING

Storing: I don't recommend storing this as it will harden quickly. Rather, make it right before you plan on frosting the cake. If you absolutely need to store it, put it in an airtight container and place a damp paper towel on the top of the container (not touching the icing) then cover. Mix before frosting.
Freezing: Not recommended, as freezing can cause the texture of the glaze to change, making it grainy or separating the ingredients.
