10 Minute Blistered Edamame

This blistered edamame is seasoned with soy sauce and lime juice and comes together in ten minutes or less! This veggie side dish could not be easier, it's perfect for busy weeknights when you want to get something on the table fast! The zesty lime combined with salty soy sauce is a flavor combo that is not to be missed!

Ingredients

  • 1 14oz bag frozen edamame pods
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • sea salt, to taste

Instructions

  • In a microwavable bowl, add the edamame and microwave for 3 minutes. Meanwhile heat the 2 tbsp olive oil over medium-high heat in a large sauté pan.
  • Add the edamame and the 1 tbsp soy sauce to the pan. Give it a quick stir, then space out the edamame as evenly as you can around the pan. Leave the edamame alone (no more stirring) for 2-3 more minutes. This will ensure that they get black and crispy!
  • When the pods are crispy and blackened, take them off the heat,  juice the edamame with the lime or lemon and sprinkle with salt.
  • These are best served right away!
